Finding your wagon
Well its time to start blogging again. It's been a while since I had anything to say, but now that I work as an independent and I'm free to speak about anything I want...I seem to be inspired. :)
Working for myself means to REPRESENT MYSELF and it's one amazing feeling. For the first time in my journey I am not representing anyone other than me. I can speak about what I want freely without feeling disloyal. This will allow me to give you the best non bias information and advice I can.
So here you go :)
I have been asked This A Lot " Can you help me get back on the Wagon" Or "I feel off the Wagon".
The Truth is....If you fell off the wagon, perhaps you were not on the right wagon...or on the right track.
See all wagons above??...All of these wagons are awesome wagons. I obviously love the royal wagon and it would be my choice ;)
All of these Wagons will all take you to where you wanna go...but what one is the right fit?...or what combo is the right fit for YOU??
So how do you find your wagon?...How as an adult do you find out what you like to do? Well if you are a parent, or what I can assume your parents did for you was offer children a lot of variety until they find what it is they like to do. The same idea works for you. :)
There are a TON of different activity's available in the city to go an try. Go and try something fun and New. Also you can...wait for this....you CAN DO MORE THAN ONE THING!!...what?!?... YES it's true!!
Just because I enjoy barbell training doesn't mean it's the ONLY thing I can do as activity. I also enjoy bike rides with the kids, I love to swim, I run now and again...and in the winter I will be heading to RIM park to Speed Skate...YEP, did you know we have that in KW??!!

Speed skating is something I have always wanted to try and I hate the winter...I HATE the winter. So in order to hate it a little less, I need an activity and now that I know we have this available in the area, I'm going to give it a go :)
After I start speed skating in the winter will I stop barbell training...NO WAY...but I can and will do more than one thing. I am in good shape now and I'm interested in exploring sports....you can too!! This is scary even for me...I'm shy when I start new things and I am terribly un coordinated. But I am not afraid to get out of my comfort zone anymore.
The people that I have seen truly have success in creating a healthy lifestyle have found something active that they LOVE to do. It's not a chore, it's play time...and who doesn't love to play?!?!
My wagon or combination of wagon's work for me...it doesn't mean it will work for you. Or perhaps barbell training and Zumba are your wagons...or the 21 day fix and swimming work well for you. The combinations are endless...truly, find what you LOVE, make time for yourself...and Play!!

It's an at home training and diet system. I have watched with PRIDE as my friends Kim and Dustin have killed this programme. Kim is a busy stay at home Mom of 2 littles, she found something she loves and its working for her.

RESPECT Strength and Conditioning
I am happy to meet with anyone that wants to talk about health, fitness and life changes and challenges. Currently I offer one on one PT but in the fall I will be offering Strength and Conditioning classes that include a post training meeting. Meetings helped me stay on track, provided me with food idea's and kept me accountable. It's been a dream of mine to offer these types of services.

Courtney is a success story too. She has lost a TON of weight...and guess what?!? She did it doing things she LOVES!
One of those things is Crossfit. I have yet to try it...as mentioned above I am NOT coordinated at all!!

Syd Vanderpool is a world class boxer and coach. He offers a variety of boxing classes and learn to box classes. It feels pretty good to hit a bag now and then, plus the conditioning is AMAZING!

I have not done this in YEARS...but it is on my list to do with my littles. I think they would love it. I believe they offer family times on Friday nights!!

I love swimming...when the water is warm ;) My kids love it and we go often as a family.

I hope that you take some time and try to find your wagon. There are so many things that you can be out doing and enjoying. Remember you can have more than one wagon. You can do whatever you love...just find it...and do it!! :)
